Tsurumi KRS2 Submersible Drainage Slurry Pumps
KRS2 models are three phase slurry pumps, in cast iron, with a built-in agitator to stir sand, bentonite and pulverized solids into suspension for pumping. Capable of pumping large volumes, motors are 4 pole for increased wear resistance, they have a generous solids capacity. Constructed in superior grade materials throughout, they give exceptional performance in harsh operating conditions. The hydraulic design features a double mechanical seal, with an oil lifter, for positive seal lubrication in any operating position. The top discharge design forms a water and air-cooling channel and this, combined with a high-performance motor, enables long periods of operation in seepage conditions. Maintenance is straightforward, with simple replacement of parts, without the need for special tools. High-performance motors feature thermal protection, enabling simple installation and direct connection to the power supply.
