Generator Sales Engineer – Attleborough, Norfolk
Stuart Group Ltd, the UK's largest distributor for the world's biggest diesel generator manufacturer, FG Wilson (Engineering) Ltd, is recruiting for a Generator Sales Engineer to join our Power Sales Division team to assist in the day to day running of our busy Generator Sales Department at our head office in Attleborough, Norfolk. We offer a service of design and installation of new generators ranging from 10-2500kVA.

Reporting directly to the Power Sales Division Manager you will assist the Power Sales Division team in all aspects of the day to day work of the generator sales department to help maintain, develop and deliver our generator projects within budget and on time. The role is primarily office based; however, some travel is required to attend meetings and visit sites for which a vehicle will be provided.
We are looking for applicants ideally from an engineering (electrical/mechanical) background with knowledge of diesel generators. You will possess excellent computer skills (Autocad would be an advantage), a good telephone manner, excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. You must also be a team player with the ability to interact with others on all levels and use own initiative.
Duties will include dealing with generator enquiries, taking sales calls, maintaining relationships with our existing customers and potential new customers, extracting and using data, producing spreadsheets, preparing proposals/tenders for enquiries received, generator sizing, preparing quotations (using in-house computer programme), reading and understanding technical specifications and drawings, programming project installation requirements and associated cost implications to suit clients’ needs, processing paperwork, keeping accurate records (attention to detail essential), liaison with other power sales team members, engineers, installation team, customers and suppliers and any other duties commensurate with the position as required by Stuart Group Ltd.

Generator Installation Co-Ordinator – Attleborough, Norfolk

We are the UK's largest distributor for the world's biggest diesel generator manufacturer, FG Wilson (Engineering) Ltd and we offer a bespoke service of design and installation of new generators ranging from 10kVA to 2500kVA.
We are recruiting for a Generator Installation Co-Ordinator to join our busy Power Sales Division at our head office in Attleborough. You will work closely with the Generator Sales Team and Engineering Staff and have the responsibility of co-ordinating all our generator installation projects for the Division, from receiving order to delivery to handover, to ensure our generator projects are within budget and on time. The role is primarily office based; however, some travel is required to attend meetings, visit project sites and oversee installation work for which a vehicle will be provided.
We are looking for applicants ideally from an engineering (electrical/mechanical) background with a sound knowledge of diesel generators (10kVA to 2500kVA), control systems and fuel systems. You must have the ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings, be conversant with wiring diagrams, and have basic computer skills, excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. You must be a team player with the ability to interact with others on all levels and also able to use own initiative to work independently when required.
Duties will include arranging and co-ordinating generator installation projects, procurement of materials from regular suppliers, liaison with clients, engineers and other team members, maintaining and building relationships with customers and suppliers, programming project installation requirements and commercial commitments, controlling a team of engineers during installation work, processing paperwork, keeping accurate records (attention to detail essential) and any other duties commensurate with the position as required by Stuart Group Ltd.

Parts/Sales Co-Ordinator – Attleborough, Norfolk

We are recruiting for a Parts/Sales Co-Ordinator to join our busy Parts Sales Team with the drive and desire to promote and develop sales for our FG Wilson Parts and Service and Maintenance Contracts and to assist in the day to day running of our GEK Division to promote sales of our portable generators and pumps.
We are looking for applicants with proven parts sales experience who possess excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills with the ability to interact with others on all levels. You must also have excellent computer skills with a good knowledge of Word, Excel and Publisher. The ideal applicant will be able to work under pressure and to deadlines and also have the ability to work independently using their own initiative or as part of a team.
Working closely with the Parts Sales Team within the Power Sales Division your duties will include actively maintaining our existing customer base, developing a new customer base, establishing sales relationships with our existing and potential new customers, telephone sales support, dealing with enquiries and identifying customers’ requirements, inputting data, processing sales/parts/service contracts orders, stock control, keeping accurate records, general administration and any other duties commensurate with the position as required by Stuart Group Ltd.
