Water Course

During a successful training weekend, 23 of our employees underwent and passed the National Water Hygiene Scheme Card assessment, administered by the Energy & Utility Skills Register.

The aim of the scheme is to ensure that Water Hygiene Training is completed to a nationally recognised level. With all water companies accepting this one qualification the need for numerous courses and cards has been removed.

In addition, 90% of our Site Operations Staff are holders of Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards and several of our Plant Maintenance Engineers and support staff also hold CSCS cards. Five staff hold CCNSG Safety Passports following projects at Power Station sites.

In order to satisfy industry standards and further develop our workforce, we are constantly reviewing our training needs across the Group as a whole. The company is fully committed to training and personnel development as part of the ISO 9001 accreditation and will continue to look ahead for its training needs.
