The branch also came to the rescue of a farmer who needed emergency power after a major power cut meant he was unable to carry out the day's milking. Stuart Power provided an FG Wilson 22kVA to ensure the farmer could continue with business as usual, saving him potentially damaging financial losses.

Anglian WaterWe are delighted to be able to announce that Stuart Wells Services has been awarded a framework agreement for borehole testing services with one of the UK’s leading water companies, Anglian Water.
Beginning the 1st February 2008, the agreement includes, but is not limited to: constant rate testing, step testing, turbidity testing, yield testing, acidisation and other borehole rehabilitation testing services, together with the provision of electronic data recording of the abstraction and monitoring wells and ultimately production of factual data reports.
That we have been awarded such a prestigious agreement is testament to our proven high standards of health and safety, the quality and range of staff competencies, our commitments to training and other relevant experience. Another key factor in our success has been the accuracy and efficiency of our administrative procedures.
We look forward to continuing to work closely with such a prestigious client.
Unwin SeedsA new ongoing project to install a new 800kVA FG Wilson generator to enable Unwin Seeds to meet their new power requirements has been undertaken. The site is provided with 500 kVA, however, a new packaging line for their new renewable peat products has exceeded the available mains.
After our site survey, it was agreed that an 800 kVA generator would meet the increased demand so a peak lopping control panel was selected which will also offer automatic mains failure at power outages; and to prevent power export a G59 panel has been manufactured and installed, this will offer a soft return to mains at times of low power consumption.
During our survey it was discovered that the power provider had been charging expensive Triad tarrifs - these increased costs can now be eliminated.
As the generator will operate for 16 hours a day the engine has been fitted with additional oil filtration equipment which will extend oil and filter changes to 2000 hours. This is a substantial saving for the environment and client's servicing account. The product capital cost is saved at two oil changes.
Proving once again whatever the requirements we can meet the client's needs. For a small planned increase in capital costs at the onset we can help make significant long terms savings to operating costs.
